This policy explains what Markita (markita.app) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Markita is an AI marketing workspace where 12 specialist agents draft marketing work for your brand. We designed the product to be privacy-respecting: connections to your accounts are read-only, your data is isolated per brand, and the agents produce drafts that you approve — nothing is published or sent without your action.
We use your data to operate the Service: to audit your sites, generate marketing drafts and plans, compute growth metrics, run your dashboard, process payments, secure your account, and provide support. To draft content, relevant inputs are sent to our AI provider to produce output for you. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Connections to your third-party accounts use read-only OAuth — Markita reads the data needed to inform your marketing and does not post to or modify your connected accounts. The access tokens that authorise these connections are encrypted at rest and are never shared or sold. You can disconnect any connected service at any time, which revokes Markita's access.
Each brand's data is isolated to its owner's account. Agents operate on your brand's data to serve you; we do not pool one customer's brand data into another customer's workspace.
We share data only with the service providers ("sub-processors") needed to run Markita, and only as far as required to provide the Service:
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Markita and its users.
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can delete (Remove) any brand from the dashboard, which wipes that brand's stored data from the Service. To delete your whole account and associated data, email us. We may retain limited billing and transaction records where the law requires.
You can access and update your account information, disconnect any connected service at any time, delete brands, request deletion of your account, and request a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, use the dashboard or contact us at the address below.
Markita is operated from India and complies with applicable Indian data-protection law. Some of our sub-processors may process data outside India; where that happens, we take reasonable steps so that your data continues to be protected.
